I dag presenteres resultatene fra World Wide Views i København. Andrea Hvattum (22) fra det norske Folketoppmøtet om klima deltar i en paneldebatt sammen med blant andre deltakere fra Egypt og Vietnam, Danmarks utviklingsminister og grunnleggeren av klimakampanjen 350.org.
Hvorfor er det viktig å involvere lekfolk i klimadebatten? Hva kan vanlige innbyggere bidra med i politiske beslutningsprosesser på den globale arena? Er det mulig å etablere en global offentlighet?
Dette er blant spørsmålene som skal opp til debatt når World Wide Views i dag presenteres på et eget arrangement på Bella-senteret i København, der delegasjoner fra bortimot 200 land i disse dager forsøker å meisle ut rammeverket for en ny global klimaavtale (COP15).

Resultatene fra World Wide Views on Global Warming vil bli presentert. Prosjektleder Jon Fixdal deltar fra Teknologirådet i Norge, sammen med folkepanel-deltaker Andrea Hvattum.

In cooperation with Climate Consortium Denmark, World Wide Views on Global Warming and the Danish Board of Technology invites to a COP15 Side Event about World Wide Views on Global Warming.
World Wide Views on Global Warming offers unique and detailed insight into ordinary people’s views on climate change and how to make global policies to deal with it.
Citizens in 38 countries deliberated on core issues at stake at COP15, and their demands are clear: They want an ambitious deal that ensures a temperature increase below 2 degrees Celsius.
